Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Belarusian Visa.
- Completed visa application form.
- Recent passport-sized photographs that meet the visa photo specifications.
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months on the day of the trip to Belarus.
- Round trip reservation.
- Travel itinerary.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Proof of funds.

- Rwandans intending to make short stops in Belarus are to apply for this visa.
- This visa allows Rwandans to alight from an airplane in Belarus and board another flight going to their final destination.
- You will be required to provide a valid flight ticket of your destination country when applying for this visa.
- You must show the visa of your destination country if required.
- Minors are required to present their birth certificate and a signed letter of consent from their parents.
- You are not allowed to study or take up paid employment while in the country.
- Proof that you have the incentive to return to your country after the expiration of your visa is needed.
- The transit visa is valid for 2 days and cannot be extended.
- You are required to exit the country before your visa expires.
- This visa costs €60 and is usually processed in about 5 working days.

- It also allows you to visit friends and family while in Belarus.
- You’re required to provide an invitation letter if staying with a host in Belarus. This invitation letter should contain duration, purpose of trip as well as any declaration of financial responsibility by the host where necessary.
- A valid means of identification of your host is also needed.
- You cannot take up paid employment with this visa.
- The tourist visa allows a stay of 30 days and has a validity of 90 days from the issue date.
- It is usually processed in 5 working days.
- If you are staying in Belarus for more than five working days, you must register with the local authorities. Hotels and most apartment services do this automatically, and it’s included in the room price. If you change accommodation during your stay in Belarus, you should re-register.
- You’re expected to leave Belarus before your visa expires.
Belarus Business Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa allows Rwandans to carry out business activities in Belarus.
- This visa allows you meet up with business partners in Belarus as well as to negotiate and sign business contracts.
- Non-Rwandans are to provide a valid residence permit while applying for this visa.
- A letter of introduction from your company detailing its business activities, financial responsibility if any, your position and purpose of trip is needed.
- An invitation letter from the company in Belarus with full details of your visit and who’s sponsoring it is also important.
- Both letters must be written on the respective companies letterhead.
- Proof of previous business relationship with the Belarus company is also needed for this visa application.
- Photocopy of memorandum and article of association of the inviting company should be submitted. A copy of the business registration and trade licence should be submitted as well.
