Farris Wilks’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Farris Wilks Net Worth: Farris Wilks is an American businessman and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $1.5 billion. Farris Wilks rose to riches, fame and fortune in concert with his brother Dan Wilks, with whom he co-founded and co-owns Wilks Masonry, Inc., a family-held company that purports to offer high-quality craftsmanship to its clients and customers. With manufacturing plants located in North Texas, West Texas and Oklahoma, Wilks Masonry has handily established itself as a leading masonry company able to execute various projects ranging all the way from minor renovation jobs to building from scratch huge multi-million-dollar construction complexes as well as other projects. Born to a mason father, brothers Farris and Dan followed in their father’s footsteps and they eventually set up their own company Wilks Masonry. In 1995 the siblings set up the foundation of Wilks Masonry, Inc. Farris was appointed President, while Dan held the position of Vice President and estimator in the company. Some seven years later, Farris and Dan detected the need of branching out into other areas beyond the field of masonry, such as the hydraulic fracturing and oil field service industry. It was for this reason that they founded a second company called Frac Tech. After that, in 2011, they sold their combined interest of almost 70% at Frac Tech (which had sense evolved into FTS International Services, LLC) to a partnership lead by Temasek Holdings of Singapore for a reported total sum of $3.5 billion. Since, they have been shedding the money by buying ranches across the west. In 2011, the sibling duo bought Tom Siebel’s 62,000-acre N Bar Ranch in Montana for $45 million, as well as they acquired almost 300,000 acres in Montana and 36,000 acres in Idaho. In addition to the above, Farris Wilks has been a pastor of the Assembly of Yahweh 7th Day Church near Cisco.
