Bruce Witkin and Johnny Depp have been friends for 40 years as per the testimony provided in the court.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are facing each other at the Fairfax County Circuit Court. They both are suing each other for defamation and domestic violence respectively.
While it is the 19th trial day of the case, the first witness Bruce Witkins made some allegations about his friend Johnny. This has raised the question regarding their friendship and equation today. Here is what we know about it.
Are Bruce Witkin And Johnny Depp Still Friends?
Bruce Witkins, a musician, has been friends with actor Johny Depp for over 40 years now as per his statement in the court. However, with all the rage on social media supporting the actor over his legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard, this has come as a shock to many that his friend has not-so-good things to say about him.
In this case, Bruce was the first one to testify in the court in the 19th-day trial and he becomes the second witness to smoke a vape pen for deposition. The first witness was ECB desk staffer Alejandro Romero who was seen smoking from a vape pen on April 27 for testifying purposes. During the deposition, a picture of Romero puffing smoke from his nostrils went viral.
When Johnny’s other friends have chosen to stay. by his side and supporting him in coming out with the horrors he had to go through, Twitter finds Bruce’s claim of him being the actor’s friend unusual and hard to digest.
It doesn’t seem the two are friends anymore after the incident in the court. Further, there can be other possibilities as well where Witkin’s might have spoken his side of the truth despite being a good friend.

What Happened In The Court? Bruce Witkin’s Testimony Explained
While testifying on the 19th-day trial, Bruce Witkin said that Johnny Depp was never a good partner to Amber Heard instead was a jealous one. He would envy people like Nicholas Cage.
As per his statement, Depp could not stand Heard doing movie roles with other male actors. He testified that he once noticed marks on Heard’s arm that looked like she had been grabbed and that he later saw Depp in rehearsal with a busted lip, but he couldn’t recall the date.
Witkin’s even added about Depp’s drug abuse story and testified that he’s seen him doing cocaine in 2016 and before that in 2014. It was weird to him and Johnny hated those stuff when he was 14 years old.
Bruce admitted that his friend might hate him for what he said but he couldn’t lie and that was what made him stand in the court that day.
