Patrick Sandoval is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (MLB).
The Houston Astros selected Sandoval in the eleventh round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. He signed for $900,000 and reneged on his commitment to USC. The following year, he joined the Astros of the Gulf Coast League and made his major league debut, going 0-3 with a 6.08 ERA in six starts.
The athlete started the 2021 season as a reliever but was promoted to the starting rotation in late May when José Quintana was injured.
