Andy Mientus And Michael Arden Married In 2016
Andy Mientus and Michael Arden had their wedding on August 18, 2016. The couple got married after dating for six years.
The pair first met each other in 2006 at the opening night party of the show The Times Are a-Changin’ in which Michael was performing. During the opening night, Andy was looking forward to meeting Arden but he was busy due to the show.
When he was about to leave with his friends Michael saw him and called him over. At that moment Mientus first laid eyes on Arden he knew that he was going to be someone important in his life.
After their first meeting, they kept in touch with each other through MySpace, email, and Friendster and later exchanged their phone numbers as well. While they were talking their relationship was platonic since both of them were involved in a long-term relationship with their respective partners.
The duo again met each other in person Michael was part of Pippin for DeafWest in LA and Andy was in the first national tour of Spring Awakening. During that time they would meet each other at Central Park which made their friendship stronger.
