Darts Player Danny Baggish Impressive Net Worth In 2022
The PDC player’s net worth is unclear, although the dart database estimates his career earnings to be around £26,762. In 2021, he was the only American player to win a PDC tour card at Q-School.
In contrast, if he triumphs in the first round, he would go up against Dimitri Van den Bergh, who is said to have a net worth of about $100,000.
In the world of darts, Michael van Gerwen held the record for the most earnings just before the legendary Phil Taylor and Peter Wright, the winner of the 2022 PDC World Darts Championship.
Additionally, the Dutch superstar is currently third in the world rankings and has won three World Darts Championship matches. And Taylor, a darts legend, finished in second place with earnings of £7.6 million, much below Van Gerwen’s stunning £8.5 million.
Baggish Career Earnings And Wealth From PDC World Championship
In a fantastic final at the Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort in 2019, the Florida native, 39, who won $10,000, qualified for the World Championship and defeated Smith to earn his spot.
The thrower, born on the island of Guam, had made his television debut in the Dafabet US Darts Masters, where he came in second to Daryl Gurney but advanced through the eight competitors to succeed Smith as North American Champion.
To advance to the final, Baggish had to come from behind in his semifinal matchup with Leonard Gates and his quarterfinal matchup with Elliot Milk, per PDC TV.
Following a match-saving 140 checkout and surviving one missed match dart in a thrilling last leg, he overcame a 5-3 deficit against Gates after coming back from a leg down to overcome South Dakota’s Milk 6-2.
Baggish increased his advantage to 4-1 and 5-2 as he neared victory. Smith, who had already survived one missed match dart, closed the distance to 5-4 by winning with 88 on the bull and double 16.
The Canadian then completed a third-dart double 16 to force a decisive leg of the match but missed the winning bull, allowing Baggish to come in on top and win.
His Additional Income From Brand Endorsements With Target Darts
In 2019, Danny Baggish joined Team Target. Since then, the darts player from Guam has grown into one of the top names on the continent.
He has participated in numerous world championships, including the US Darts Masters. A player to be feared, “The Gambler” has also won several national titles.
Basically, they support some of the top athletes on every continent, from the UK to South East Asia and Japan to Europe and North America.
Incredibly, Target’s player roster currently includes six world champions, including Rob “Voltage” Cross and none other than 16-time World Champion Phil “The Power” Taylor.
Since its 2006 debut, Target Darts has established a reputation for cutting-edge design, superior product quality, and flawless craftsmanship.
Their goal is to encourage people to go beyond their comfort zones, perform better, and have a revolutionary influence through the creation of excellent goods and collaboration with the finest in business.
Guamanian-Born Came To Prominence In 2019 US Darts Masters
Baggish first gained notoriety in 2019, when he was one of the eight North American qualifiers that competed in the US Darts Masters and fell to Daryl Gurney in the opening round by a score of 6-1.
He then defeated Leonard Gates and Elliot Milk before defeating Jeff Smith in the North American Championship final and earning a spot in the 2020 PDC World Darts Championship.
After that, he triumphed in the final of a CDC Pro Tour competition in Philadelphia, beating Joe Huffman.
With his qualification for the 2022 German Darts Grand Prix, Baggish became the first American player to compete in a PDC European Tour tournament. He defeated Thomas Junghans at the tournament to win the game and become the first American to do so on the European Tour.
The 39-Year-Old’s Wife Nicole Marie Is From Charlton
According to his Facebook page, Baggish is living a prosperous life with his partner, Nicole Marie, a Southbridge public school alumna.
Basically, his girlfriend is from Charlton, Massachusetts, but she now resides in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Since their first photo was posted on December 22, 2021, Danny and Nicole appear to have started dating a year ago.
Similar to this, Baggish responded “love you too” to Nicole’s “love you” and kiss emoji in a picture he uploaded on July 5.
There are many images of children on Nicole’s Facebook profile, but it’s not entirely apparent if the babies in the pictures are her kids or not.
On the other hand, Danny also shared a photo on his Facebook page from 2016 with a different woman, Lyndsay Halbert, in which they both wrote, “I love you.”
Baggish’s Son Is Proud To See His Father On TV
The dart player is a father to a son, who seems to be around five years old. The father and son pair can be seen enjoying quality time together in several pictures posted on his Facebook page.
A video of his son beaming at the TV while his father was there was uploaded on his Twitter page. Baggish expressed his satisfaction and said that’s what he lives for when uploading the video on June 4.
His son means the world to him. Likewise, junior Baggish had an automobile accident that left him with shattered bones, among other problems.
According to the Daily Star, the loving father was scheduled to compete in two forthcoming Players Championship tournaments, including the weekend’s European Darts Open in Leverkusen, Germany.
However, when his son suffered a broken arm and injured ribs and lungs, the 39-year-old placed his family first and withdrew from those competitions.
On May 4, 2022, Danny shared the news of his son’s accident with his followers on Twitter. Many of his friends and family members wished him a swift recovery.
