Amanda Dudamel Newman, born on October 19, 1999, is a Venezuelan multi-talented artist. She is a fashion designer, model, philanthropist, and beauty pageant winner in addition to being Miss Venezuela 2021.
Amanda enthusiastically represented Region Andina at the pageant and later went on to represent Venezuela in the Miss Universe 2022 competition, where she finished as the 1st Runner-Up.
Amanda was born in the Venezuelan city of Mérida. She had the opportunity to live in several countries as a child, including Canada, Colombia, Chile, and South Africa. She became fluent in English as a result of her exposure to diverse cultures and languages.
Her father, Rafael Dudamel, is a former Venezuelan footballer from San Felipe, Yaracuy, and her mother, Nahir Newman Torres, is an architect and real estate agent from Mérida, Mérida.
Amanda studied fashion design in Rome, Italy, where she lived for several years to pursue her passion for fashion. During her time in Italy, she learned Italian and added it to her linguistic repertoire, which also includes English and Spanish.
Amanda is the owner and executive director of her own apparel line, “By Amanda Dudamel,” as well as a co-founder of “Reborn the Brand.” She is also the director of the social impact project “Emprendiendo e Impactando.”
