Alicia Moffet Beautiful Scar Lyrics
- It hurt
- It really hurt at first
- I’m not good with feelings
- And talking only makes it worse
- Never believed in
- Anything I couldn’t see
- But for some reason
- You’re gone and it feels bittersweet
- ‘Cause all you left
- Is a beautiful scar
- But it’s enough
- To feel light in the dark
- I hope you’re there
- If heaven’s a real place
- I hope you’re there
- And you’re better now
- And that it’s everything you thought it would be
- I guess all I want you to know
- Is that it’s hard but I’m letting you go
- It’s not fair
- Oh, no
- Take care
- You know
- I wanted you to carry on
- But it’s okay
- Just hope you’re proud of what I’ve become
- Wish you could meet them
- They’re everything you wanted for me
- Wish you could see how
- I figured it out and I found peace
- ‘Cause all you left
- Was a beautiful scar
- But it’s enough
- To feel light in the dark
- I hope you’re there
- If heaven’s a real place
- I hope you’re there
- And you’re better now
- And that it’s everything you thought it would be
- I guess all I want you to know
- Is that it’s hard but I’m letting you go
- It’s not fair
- Oh, no
- Oh, and you were working every day
- To come back to ungrateful faces
- And you just could not take anymore
- And it was hard and I felt helpless
- And I wish I could have said this
- But you left and I accept it now
- Hope you’re there
- If heaven’s a real place
- I hope you’re there
- And you’re better now
- And that it’s everything you thought it would be
- I guess all I want you to know
- Is that it’s hard but I’m letting you go
- I hope you’re there
- Oh, no
- Take care
