Alice Beer Reunion with Dad
Alice decided to surprise her father Ivan live on the show, having not seen him or her mother for the totality of lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic. With Father’s Day approaching, Alice thought it was the perfect day to see her father for the first time while adhering to social distancing guidelines. She crept to his doorstep with a camera crew behind her, while holding a very long microphone pole.
Alice shared her panic that Ivan might swear on national TV, or even rock up to the door in his pajamas. She had not warned him she was on her way, or that he would be on live TV. Weirdly, as he opened the door he was very confused and did not seem to react all that much. Alice started crying over the emotional reunion, but her father was far more concerned about keeping a distance.
He asked if he was staying, to which she asked if she could film her segment in his garden while keeping a two-meter distance from him to which he agreed. But Alice tearfully asked him how he was and reacted to finally being reunited, her dad told her to go round the back. Phillip and Holly were heard roaring with laughter, with the camera showing them reacting to the comments.
He then went to close the door on her as he prepared for his TV cameo, as Alice continued to wipe her eyes outside. Later on, Alice finally managed to move her to her father, with a big surprise. Her youngest daughter Dora crawled out from under the table Alice was hosting her segment. Ivan shouted out in surprise before becoming visibly emotional at the sight of his granddaughter. Alice cheered that she’d managed to get some emotion out of him, as Dora appeared overwhelmed too.
