Ali Isah Jibrin (born 15 July 1983), simply known as Ali Jita, is a Nigerian Hausa musician, song writer and singer.

Early life

Ali was born into the family of Alhaji Sallau Jibrin Kibiya a Butcher and his mother Hajiya Ummul-Khairi in Gyadi gyadi area of Kumbotso local government Kano state, Nigeria. He was raised in Shagari quarters Gyadi-gyadi as a little boy his father moved his family from Kano to Lagos then to Abuja due to his business purposes.

Education

Ali Jita started his Nursery elementary education in shagari quarters, a place where he was born, he then did his primary and junior secondary education at Bonikam barracks Victoria Ireland, Lagos state, he finished his senior secondary education in Abuja. He further his studies in Federal College of Education Kano where he obtain National Diploma in Public administration. Furthermore, He then studied Computer Science at the Intersystem ICT School where he obtain Diploma.

Music and Film Career

Most of Ali’s songs where used in the Kannywood film industry, but some of his Albums were sold out to other Hausa film Industries, His associates include Nazifi Asnanic, Fati Niger, Naziru M Ahmad, etc. He also collaborated with Umar M Shareef and produced a song called Mama, his latest single is the song Kano produced in the year 2018. Ali Jita’s song called Love was chosen the second best Hausa music of the year 2018 by BBC Hausa. Ali Jita uses Ingausa musical style, a combination of Hausa and English. He use the style to write and sing the song. In 2019 he produced the official video of Arewa angel together with another Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau, he also produce another official video of the song called Love with the actress Hadiza Gabon.

Personal Life

Ali Jita started his musical career since he was 16 years old in Lagos while he was in Islamic school where he used to sang Islamic phrases as a learner, He also went to Studio when he was studying public administration in Federal college of education Kano. As life goes on, he went on with music as his profession. Ali jita is a soft voice talker, he possesses Countertenor voice. Nazifi Asnanic is one of the close associate of Ali and together they collaborated on many songs, like Aboki, Ruwan zuma, among others. He was called Jita that translate into English as Guitar due to his love for the instrument, which is one of the beat instrument he uses for his records. Ali is married with one wife and has five children the elder one Usman they called him Affan the second one is Aliyu Epithetically called Ramadan, Ahmad called farid, zainab nickname hidda. Lastly, the younge Aisha she was called Afra.
