AGT Magician Scott Alexander Cause Of Death
The magician Scott Alexander, who advanced to the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent’s sixth season in 2011, passed away at the age of 52. On February 6, 2023, Scott’s wife, Jenny Alexander, posted on Instagram to share the devastating news of his passing.
“I lost my husband yesterday. My kids lost their father,” Jenny wrote, alongside photos of the couple with their three children. “He suffered a stroke while working on a cruise ship in St Kitts and did not make it home to us,” Jenny revealed. “We are shattered. Please hold us in your prayers.”
One of the most enduring AGT participants from season 6 was Scott. He had his wife Jenny, who was also his helper, appear out of thin air and then levitate with water during his audition.
Scott advanced to the next round because the judges, Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel, were so taken by his audition.
The gospel choir emerged and then vanished as part of Scott’s illusion, which ultimately led to his elimination in the quarterfinals. Jazz vocalist Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. won that season.
Scott had an appearance on season 2 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, the magic competition shows that Penn Jillette and Teller established after AGT.
