Verizon Guy’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Verizon Guy net worth: The Verizon Guy, otherwise known as Paul Marcarelli, is an American actor who has anet worth of around $10 million. And while the bulk of his current estimated net worth was earned through those infamous “can you hear me now” commercials for Verizon, Marcarelli has many other talents that may earn him recognition as an artist, if he can overcome his reputation as the Verizon guy. For instance, he has many other commercials under his belt as an actor, such as advertisements for companies like Old Navy and Heineken. He also has a calling as a voice over artist, performing voice over work for Comedy Central, United Airlines, and more. He also has experience working behind the camera, as a producer for independent filmmakers like Eric Bogosian and Richard Nelson, and as a screenwriter. One film he’s written, entitled Sweet Flame, came out recently, and stars Mira Sorvino, and Anne Meara. As of April, 2011, Marcarelli’s contract with Verizon has come to an end, but it can’t be argued that he’s made a big impact on the culture at large. He took a five word sentence and made it resonate throughout millions of people, and for that he can hold his head high. How much did Paul Marcarelli make as the Verizon guy? At his peak, Paul earned $2-3 million per year working for Verizon. Typically when an actor portrays a character for a long time, they end up negotiating a direct deal with the brand outside of the typical SAG-AFTRA union pay scales. They also get a pay bump for being the official spokesperson, residuals for current commercial airings and an exclusivity buyout which precludes them for taking other jobs. When you add it all up, someone like Paul has earned well over $20 million during his career through his commercial and voice acting roles.
